   Africa: A Voyage of Discovery with Basil Davidson is one of the three premier video series regarding the history of Africa. The other two series are The Africans: A Triple Heritage by Ali Mazuri and Wonders of the African World by Henry Louis Gates, Jr. This site is dedicated to the series made by Basil Davidson, a British scholar.
   The site is broken down into four main sections, with links to the left. The "bio" section includes biographical information regarding Basil Davidson. Background information on Basil Davidson can be found there, as well as reviews of his style. The "videos" section contains an overview of the video series on Africa as well as tape-by-tape summaries. The "compare" section is a comparison of the three video series. It can tell you where to find which information. The "compare" section also includes an evaluation of the three series. The "sources" section is composed of bibliographical information pertaining to this site. Any resources used can be found there. Also included are relevant links to this subject.
