Father Divine (1880-1965)
The assistant of preacher Father Jehovah, Father Divine split away in 1912 and eventually began his own following in Sayville, NY in 1919 with his wife Sister Penny.
He later remarried, claiming that his new wife was Sister Penny reincarnated as Mother Divine.
