Bernice King
was born on March 28, 1963 in
Georgia and has become an attorney and ordained minister.
She received a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Spelman
College, a master’s in divinity and a law degree from Emory University.
She is the assistant pastor at Greater Rising Star Baptist Church in
Atlanta. King is also a founder of Active Ministers Engaged in Nurturing
(AMEN), to counsel juvenile delinquents. Her best seller Hard
Questions, Hard Answers is a collection of her literary and oratory
works on religious and secular issues.
Bernice is also the youngest daughter of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
and Coretta Scott King.
